Please note: the completion and submission of this application does not confer any right upon the applicant to attend the Commonwealth Forum.
All expressions of interest for the Commonwealth Forum 2018 are subject to successful registration and security checks by the relevant Constabulary. This includes if you have attended the forum in previous years and you have been invited to register your interest. Registration to the Commonwealth Forums can only be made online.
Her Majesty’s Government (HMG) reserves the right to refuse admission to any person without giving a reason.
Anyone wishing to enter the Commonwealth Forum 2018 will need to show a valid delegate pass. Delegate passes will only be issued to those who have received email confirmation that their registration has been successful and upon presentation of valid photo ID.
This form is for delegates to register their interest only. Information on the accreditation process for media wishing to attend will be issued in due course.
Your rights and data protection
The information provided by you will be stored, backed up and maintained on a secure server held by a third party contracted by HMG to provide the registration factility. The data you submit will be passed to authorised third parties, including security partners, to assist with processing your application and conducting security checks.
The information supplied by you will be provided to the relevant Constabulary for storage on a computer system in connection with the policing arrangements for the forums as part of CHOGM 2018.
Once submitted, your contact details will be retained by HMG and [organisers depending on Forum] for 2 years after the end of Commonwealth Forum 2018. Your data will only be shared and used to contact you with information directly related to your attendance at Commonwealth Forum 2018.
Your data may also held by the organisers to notify you of future Commonwealth Forum events. It may also be used for anonymous statistical analysis.
Details of the data stored may be obtained in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act1998. HMG will comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, as amended from time to time, at all times when handling your data.
